Kight was the only independent artist selected by a panel of retailers for inclusion on this project. She joins Muddy Waters, Marcia Ball, Blind Boys of Alabama, Shemekia Copeland, Howlin’ Wolf, Koko Taylor, and more on this album.

2001 – Kight’s recording of her song “Let The Healing Begin” landed on GET THE BLUES compilation, which maintained BILLBOARD CHART positions for more than a year.
