A seasoned entertainer, EG Kight has received
numerous music industry nominations,
including three for Song of the Year.
Though she’s considered a roots/blues artist,
she’s also long been known as a singer/songwriter,
and a captivating storyteller,
and performs all across the country
as a solo, and with her trio.
Her unique musical artistry blurs the lines between genres,
and some say she was “americana” before it had a name.
Kight has performed her own eclectic mix of music at
clubs, theaters, festivals, yacht clubs,
house concerts, and fundraisers across the country,
and in venues from the Biltmore Estate Winery
to NPR’s “Mountain Stage.”
She continues to write songs that are a soulful blend,
a cross between
Delbert McClinton, Wynonna, and Travis Tritt,
with ballads that would be a good fit for
Carrie Underwood, Bette Midler, Reba, or Tony Bennett.
